Conley Buick GMC is a 50-year- old family owned and managed car dealership located in Bradenton, Florida. With its continued success and community involvement the dealership made the business decision to renovate and upgrade the current facility. The construction was developed in multiple phases and was coordinated to be customer friendly during seasonal demands. The scope of work involved glazed enclosure along with its associated utilities of an existing covered open air vehicle display area, handicap accessibility upgrades, sales area enhancements, service area modernization, along with an exterior elevation face-lift. The design concept and creative use of materials established a benchmark that is consistent with the recent dealership construction movement. The project was approximately 35,000 sf in area with an estimated construction cost of $1.6 M and was constructed and managed over a year and a half time frame. The renovations and upgrade enhancements has become a representation and has provided a “back- drop” of the Conley family’s continuing outreach to the community.
