Garry L. Roberts
Garry L. Roberts, a native of Florida, has an outstanding professional reputation as an award-winning architect who retains a clear understanding of the creative process. He has over thirty years of professional experience, primarily in the State of Florida, and has been registered in fourteen other states over his career. He is currently registered in Florida and Georgia as an architect and also maintains registration in Florida as an Interior Designer. Roberts received a Bachelor of Design and a Masters of Arts in Architecture, along with a Graduate degree in Gerontological Studies, from the University of Florida. He is the former Vice President of Design Team West in Bradenton where for 15 years he was a key component of the largest design-build firm south of Tampa Bay. Roberts has been associated with many professional trade and community organizations and has promoted the profession as a guest lecturer and design critic to several of the local private and public schools. He is founding principal of Garry Roberts Architecture LLC, an architectural firm located in Palmetto, which has established a stable client base of repeat clients while providing services to a varied mix of project types. Roberts’ approach to design that one must maintain a clear vision and focus in solving design challenges has promoted the firm’s growth. Garry resides on Snead Island in western Palmetto with his wife, Pam, and two dogs, Evan and Bucky. He is very proud of his two daughters and five grandkids.
He enjoys running, biking and fishing primarily on the island.
